I'm Ignacio Arenzana, the founder of Scan & Find and this is our story.

Ever since I was 14, I’ve always been a bit forgetful — the kind of person who’s constantly misplacing things. I’ve lost track of how many times I left behind my phone, keys, laptop… and even once, my passport during a trip to Italy.

To give myself a better chance of getting them back, I started sticking little notes on my belongings with my contact details and a small reward offer. And you know what? It actually worked. More than once, strangers contacted me and returned what I had lost.
 

In 2013, the idea struck me — what if there were a better, easier way to do this? Something modern, clean, and discreet. Stickers and keychains with QR codes that link directly to the owner's contact info. I kept the idea in my back pocket, waiting for the right time.
 

Then COVID-19 hit, and suddenly QR codes were everywhere. Even my 70-year-old uncle knew how to use them. That was my sign. I took the leap — and together with my sister and my mother, we invested much of our savings into building what would become Scan & Find.
 

The road hasn’t been easy, but it’s been incredibly fulfilling. Thanks to our technology, people are recovering their lost items every single day. The messages of gratitude we receive make every bit of the journey worth it — and push us to keep going, growing, and helping more people protect what matters to them.
 

We also offer businesses the option to customise our stickers, keychains, and QR landing pages with their logos — turning our product into a meaningful and affordable piece of branded merchandise.
